Reception had a fantastic time at their Christmas party yesterday! We loved all of our party games and dancing 
we had some super dance moves! I think the best part of all though, was our party food! We certainly enjoyed this part of the afternoon 
Reception really enjoyed the Christmas Cafe today. We tried different Christmas foods including Brussel Sprouts, Pigs in Blankets, Stuffing, Mince Pie and Cranberry Cheese. However, Yule Log was a firm favourite with us all. Thanks Mrs Smith and Miss Pape for a lovely morning.
Reception loved their Christmas themed PE on Friday! We firstly had to ‘rock around the Christmas tree’ and dance to some music! We then played a game of snowmen and reindeers, if you were tagged by a snowman you had to make some reindeer antlers on your head and be tagged free! 
Reception had a fantastic time at the Urban Factory yesterday for the Early Years co-ordination festival! We had to use lots of our gross motor skills to make our way around the different stations where there was lots of things to climb, jump off, roll and bounce on!

Reception had a visit from a lovely paramedic called Jenny. She told us all about the Marvellous Machines that help her to do her job. Jenny let us try on her jacket, helmet and stethoscope. She showed us an oxygen mask and showed us how to put on a bandage. Thank you for visiting our classroom, Jenny, we had a great afternoon and learned lots! 
Reception are loving our topic of Marvellous Machines! We have been very busy learning lots about how machines work and have created our own robots! These are fantastic

Reception have had a lovely day today, full of lots of Pudsey learning and Children In Need activities! We have had lots of Pudsey activities in our provision and then in PE we did some Pudsey rolling – like a teddy bear!
Reception have loved exploring their new Role Play Area today . We are going to be looking at how machines can help us so have turned this into an emergency vehicle. Keep your eyes peeled to see what other Marvellous Machines we look at next.
Wow, Reception loved our workshop with Lucy Turner today! We had so much fun doing some exercises and keeping fit. Great job Reception
Reception made their poppies this week and we attached them to the fence this morning for Remembrance!
