On Wednesday 2nd December, year 1 have made paper planes linked to our topic of Famous Inventors. We had to follow instructions clearly to fold our planes correctly. We then tested our planes for how well they flew. Next we evaluated how successful our paper planes were in flight and also how well we had folded our planes. Super job year 1 ️
Alex and Izzie want to let everyone know that Buddy the Elf arrived last night and they are feeling very spoilt and lucky!!
Nolan’s elf has arrived back today but he has been put into quarantine for 14 days as he came from North Pole! Unfortunately he need to isolate, hopefully he will behave and stay in there! Nolan will be keeping watch!

We were sent this lovely message about Amber and her families start to December:
‘Christmas began in our house on Saturday by putting all our decorations up. Amber was a great help doing the tree.
Our elf, Spicy, came back this morning with a book called ‘How Winston Delivered Christmas’. We will read a chapter each night up until Christmas. We cant wait to find out what happens.
We had a trip to Fenwicks window tonight which was great. Lovely little story about the wind in the willows. Amber liked the part were they all had a big feast at the end to celebrate!’
Cadie-Leigh is excited to show everyone her beautiful Christmas decorations! We bet Santa will love visiting here, this year!
During worship, Year 1 discussed if you were being bullied, you needed to tell an adult. On each finger we wrote the name of the person who we can ask for help. We spoke about ways to cheer someone up if they were being bullied.
Year One have designed odd socks for Anti-Bullying week. We also discussed what makes us different and spoke about who we can talk to if bullying occurs. We looked at what makes a good friend.
