Lily and Anna danced through the streets of South Shields as part of the South Tyneside Parade on Saturday. They danced in the blue and gold Avatar section. They had an amazing time!
Reception have been very busy this week and their second trip was to the Marine Park. We had such a fun filled day playing in the park and riding on the train. We even treated ourselves to ice cream using some of our Ozzie star money! Thank you Mrs Smith!
Reception thoroughly enjoyed their trip to North Shields on the ferry this week and wow we walked some miles! The children loved getting on the upper level and looking out at all the boats. We stopped on the fish quay for our lunch and then walked to Northumberland park for some fun and games. To end, we walked into Tynemouth and got the metro back home – wow!
Reception had an amazing week during curriculum week! Here is a taster of some of the wonderful things they were getting up to.. It was fantastic to hear so many staff within the school commenting on how well the children did! Well done reception – a fab week had by all!
Anna had a wonderful weekend celebrating her 5th birthday. It was made even more special when her cheer group came first at the Cheer Dance competition in Middlesbrough!
The crescent moon was sighted yesterday!
Aya and Alia are celebrating the first day of Eid al Fitr today, which marks the end of our holy month of Ramdan.
An early start with Eid prayers, followed by delicious food, candy floss, ice-cream, and different rides, including trampoline jumping and donkey riding!
The girls have had so much fun, and even had their photo taken with a couple of police officers.

Anna woke up on the first day of the holidays to find out she was going on a surprise holiday to Lanzarote! It was an amazing sunny, fun packed week away. Anna loved playing in the pools, at the beach, kayaking and dancing the night away! We’ve finished off the holidays with a trip to see Aladdin! She’s excited to see her friends tomorrow.

Simon really wanted you to know that he had a fantastic time going to Belsay Castle and Gardens. He met a real life knight, Sir Richard who showed everyone all the parts of his armour, how it all worked and some different weapons. Sir Richard also ran a sword school. We had great fun exploring the gardens, building a den and looking at all the gorgeous flowers
