In Art this half term, the children have been learning about the use of shade and tone to create effects with Miss Marley. They discussed how these effects could be used and experimented to see what they might look like. We can’t wait to see the finished results.

Zachary overcomes his fear of Santa – 2.12.18

After years of completely ‘freaking out’ even just going near his Grotto, Mam is so, so proud of Zachary who conquered his fear of Santa Claus and even held a conversation with him discussing food and Fifa!

Year One Get a Shock!!! – 30.11.18

We got such a surprise when we arrived into school on Friday. Not only were our Christmas decorations up, but the tree was covered in festive underpants! We later found a map and followed the clues to discover yet more pants hidden around school. Our investigation has lead us to a group of underpant loving aliens….watch this space for further updates!

Lahna just returned yesterday from her auntie and uncle’s wedding in Santorini. We had an amazing time and the wedding was at the most amazing location!! She has loved seeing all her friends today and hasn’t been too tired for her first day in Year One!

PC Zachary and his brother Thor at a superhero party!

Zachary has had a ‘super’ time at the Summer SuperHero Party today! He said his Super Hero’s are the police so that’s what costume he decided to wear (complete with beard to make him ‘look manly’ apparently!) 👮🏻‍♂️
Both he and his little brother (Thor) won the Best Costume award and Zachary won a party game too – well done PC Gallant-McGhee!

Lola received the Most Improved Player award and Zachary received both The Most Improved Player in his group & also placed first in the Crossbar Challenge!
