What a fantastic session Year 4 had on Tuesday, for Maths Adventure Day! We loved getting stuck in to solve the clues…what an amazing way to make Maths so exciting! Huge thanks to Mr Richardson for organising it all for us!
What a fab day Year 4 had for Euro Day, on Friday! During transition, we took part in a virtual football writing workshop, and for PE, we obviously had to have a football session which we all got stuck in to in true Year 4 style! Thanks so much Miss Randle for organising the day, Year 4 are definitely ready to cheer on England
Well done Year 4 on leading a brilliant worship today around our Agents of Change unit. We delivered ours all about ‘heart health’ and explained to the school why this was important to us and what we have planned!
Reminder – children can wear red/hearts on Wednesday and donate £1 to Chuf Charity!
Year 4 had a fantastic day at Monkton Stadium yesterday taking part in an athletics tournament. Using all of the skills we learned in our recent PE unit, we competed against lots of other schools in a 50m and 400m run, a throwing event, and a jumping event. Year 4 showed fantastic sportsmanship and entered into the spirit of the day by cheering everyone on in each race!
Yesterday, Y3 and 4 had a fab day at Monkton Stadium. We took part in a range of athletic activities throughout the day and spent some time with our friends at Bede Burn!
What an amazing time Year 4 had for Aspirations Day. We loved meeting all of the different people who came in, and asking them our prepared questions about their jobs. We thought about what a CV is, and had a go at writing our own, with the winning CV (well done Lily!) being recruited at class assistant for the day! We even went on to look at budgeting, and planned a family meal, thinking about what ingredients we would need, and if we could buy them whilst staying in budget!

A HUUUUGE well done from Miss Marley and Mrs O’Doherty to our gorgeous year 4 children today on their times tables checks. Wow you absolute super stars
, you have worked so so sooooo hard and have made amazing progress over the year, we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you!
Well done to our Year 4 footballers who took part in a friendly match yesterday with St Aloysius! This was a first time taster for our children…hopefully we will see lots of you joining our school football team next year!
We are so proud of you!
This week is ‘Walk to School Week’, and each day, we are logging how we got to school, in order to earn badges! In Year 4 today, 16 of us either walked or cycled into school…great start Year 4!
