Congratulations and best wishes to Mr Andrew Richardson and his wife who gave birth to their second son. Welcome to Theo William Richardson who arrived on Friday evening weighing 7 lb 7oz.
We break up for the half term holidays at end of school on Friday 12th February 2016. We return to school on Monday 22nd February 2016.
On Friday 12th February 2016 we are going to be investigating the Christian Value of love linked to St Valentine and embedding this core value within our learning. Children are invited to bring £1 into school to dress in red or pink clothing and this will be donated to Cancer Research UK. Our praise and celebration assembly will take place at 2:30pm on this day.
Each Monday & Wednesday morning Mrs Smith or Mrs Scott will be in the yard selling school bonus ball for £1, it will be drawn during the National lottery on Saturday. Please support your PTA and purchase a bonus ball, the winning ball will receive £30.
The PTA are also holding a tuck shop each Friday from 3.15 pm from year two’s fire door. There will be a spending limit of 50p per child.
Due to security & safeguarding issues and to ensure our children are safe at all times the school car park gates will be closed each day from 8.45am until 3.45pm.
Parents and families are welcome to watch class 2’s assembly on Friday 29th January in the school hall. Its all about the Jarrow march, the children have worked and researched very hard and are very excited about the Assembly.
