Year 2 will be visiting the Great North Museum on Thursday 26th May as an end to their space topic.
Parents are asked to contribute £1.00 towards the cost.
The PTA are holding a Summer Fayre on the afternoon of Friday 1st July, anyone who would like a stall at the Fayre should contact the school via e-mail or by the PTA facebook page, stalls are priced at £15.
We are also after donations of unwanted toys or books that are in good condition to sell.

Marina Meadows our Caretaker is leaving us on Friday 13th May to work in a dog groomers (her dream job).
Marina will be missed by all of the staff and children at St. Oswald’s especially the children who attend ‘breakfast club’ where she has been an assistant since the club started in February 2004.
Some of our year 5 & 6 pupils are going to Ford Castle on Monday 16th May for five days along with Miss Shepherd and Mrs Hope. We hope they all have a great time.
Well done to Mrs Wells for all of her hard work and effort to ensure that we achieved the ‘Primary Quality Science Silver award’.
The PTA will be holding a meeting on Tuesday 3rd May at 9am in school. Please come along and support your PTA, meet other parents and have a chat.
Don’t forget that Monday 2nd May 2016 is a Bank holiday therefore the school will be closed. We open again on Tuesday 3rd May as usual.
