Happy New Year! We can’t wait to see all of our children back at school tomorrow at 8:55am! Also just a reminder that ALL children will finish at 3:15pm from tomorrow onwards! See you then.
Merry Christmas to all of our families and friends!! We hope you have a brilliant time together and we look forward to seeing you on Monday 8th January!
We will be having a special worship this morning to celebrate a special lady! It is Mrs Thornton’s last day with us today before she retires! You are ALL more than welcome to join us at 9:10am to celebrate this special person!
Tomorrow we will return from the pantomime later than originally planned!! It is going to be more like 4:45pm. All children will be dismissed from the fire doors except for Year Four who will be dismissed from the Key Stage Two door!! Children MUST NOT be taken from the line whilst entering school or walking down St Oswald’s Road. Please can we ask that parents do not park in St Oswald’s Road as this causes issues for the buses!! Thanks.
Thank you to all who came to our school Fayre this afternoon!! The classes raised £531.50 and the Fayre itself raised £809.87.
So the grand total was £1341.37.
This is the most we have ever raised so thank you everyone for all of your support and a HUGE thank you to Mrs Scott for all of her organisation!!
Enjoy your weekend and thanks from all of us at St Oswald’s!
Budge up Bublé
The Ozzie allstars have recorded their own set of Tinsle-tastic tunes to blow the yuletide speakers!
CDs available at the Christmas Fayre or from the Office for £5.
REMINDER – Tomorrow is the final date for consent slips and payment for the Pantomime. If you have any questions or queries please contact the school office.
On Friday 15th December at 2pm the doors will open for our Christmas Fayre.
If anybody has any old toys or books in good condition or any toiletries they no longer require please can we ask these be donated for the fayre.
On the morning of the 15th there will be a ‘Great St Oswald’s bake off competition in our Praise and Celebration worship, where we ask families to bake a cake and enter the competition. The cakes will then be sold on the afternoon at the school fayre so get baking!
On the day, you can pick your child up by coming through the school entrance and signing in. The children must then be signed out from their classroom and at this point they will become your responsibility. There will be an admission fee of 50p per adult and can we reiterate that all adults enter school through the front entrance.
If you are unable to attend the fayre on Friday 15th your child’s class teacher will take them around the fayre where they will still be given the opportunity to spend their money.
Please can you try as far as possible to bring plenty of change?
We look forward to seeing you on Friday 15th December!
Praise and Celebration Worship will take place at 2:30pm this Friday (8.12.17) instead of 9:10am due to whole school photographs during the morning. Coffee morning will NOT go ahead now till after Christmas due to the renovation of the Mary Thomas Room.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
