Eco club would like to share their work with you. Did you know that most of the major supermarkets now recycle soft plastics, such as crisp packets, bread bags and sweet wrappers? You will find the bins at most of the store entrances. For more information to speak to any of our Eco-Warriors!

‘Amber would like to introduce you all to the new number of our family. Meet Rolo the Guinea Pig. Amber and Ivy are in love with him.’
Our Mrs O’Doherty has been back at it again today – learning the ways of the Forest Leader! As always, Mrs O’Doherty returned brimming with ideas that she can’t wait to test out on our gorgeous children!
Clay Tree Faces were where the action was tonight in Forest School! Even Miss Booth wanted in on it as our Art & Design lead – how amazing! Well done on another amazing session Forest Clubbers, Mrs Smith was blown away!
Our wonderful cook Nicola thought our old birthday cake was in need of replacing. No sooner were the words said and ta-da…..look what she created using polystyrene and real fondant. It looks good enough to eat!
‘Hi St Oswald’s
I joined the gym a couple of weeks ago and it is so much fun. There is a family section at Jarrow Focus for ages 8-14 and it’s only £3.10 with a Get Active Card. My favourite piece of equipment so far is the treadmill.
I’ve been learning to play badminton too with Isla.

Some of our KS2 children attended Temple Park to take part in a brand new Penathlon event – this included bowling, target throw and dribbling races! They had lots of fun and even came away with fantastic medals!
Some of our fantastic Y5&6 pupils had the amazing opportunity of filming on Wednesday with First News. They discussed their opinions on graffiti and street art and debated having sports such as skateboarding as part of the PE curriculum. This will be part of an episode of FYI News Club which will be soon shown on Sky News! Well done everyone!
A fab first session for our Forest Clubbers! This week we planned out what we wanted to do across this half term and then, in preparation for our camp fires, we collected lots of branches and twigs to use as kindling.
