In our inclusive multi sports club today the children enjoyed a range of activities including dribbling, target throw and relays. Miss Randle was very impressed with our up and coming super stars as they demonstrated techniques they have learnt from attending multi sports events representing St Oswalds!

‘Alfie and Oscar have had a fun and muddy day out at Shiremoor Adventure Park! This is a free adventure park which is run by young volunteers, it was very cold or we would have spent lots more time there! There are pigs, chickens and rabbits which you can stroke and brush too.’

‘We would like to share with you some of Dan and Lucy’s half term adventures! We’ve been to Plessey Woods, with lots of exploring and paddling in the streams and swimming at Haven Point with some fun at the beach with our friends. They have both absolutely loved Mr Barron’s Sports Camp, though Dan missed day two as he was poorly. Lucy is aiming to be the next Lioness now!! Mitchell came round for some FIFA competition and we finished it all off with a Roller Disco in North Shields. We hope everyone at St Oswalds have had a lovely week off, see you soon!!’

‘Zachary enjoyed walks with his puppy Milo, decorating stones and placing one at the memorial garden at the Stadium of light for his grandad, spending his birthday money and some yummy pancakes this half term.’

‘Thomas has had a lovely half term this week. He has visited Durham Cathedral and done a springtime friends trail, enjoyed pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, been to see the Cousin Dennis show at the Customs House, been to Angry Birds Golf and been to soft play! Definitely ready for school again come Monday!’

‘Hi St Oswald’s

I’ve had a really fun week. I went to Scotland and stayed in a cottage with a hot tub. We did lots of walking and I climbed a really really big hill. Then on Saturday it was Isla’s birthday so we drove to York to watch Antman in the VIP cinema.

‘Meryl and Joseph visited the Gruffalo Discovery Land in the Twyross Zoo. They had a lovely time meeting the cutest monster ever. After that, they went to visit Legoland Windsor again. They absolutely love Legoland and can’t wait to return next time.’

Ava, Grace, Jordan and Kenzie have been having lots of fun at the Dunes, enjoying soft play and lots of yummy food!

Harry has been skiing and even went down the really hard routes with his Grandad although his favourite part has been pancake day in the snow!’
