Today is Alice’s dia-versary and she wanted to share this with our St. Oswald’s community. This is the anniversary of Alice’s diabetes diagnosis.
Since then, she’s been a champion at managing her insulin, carbs and anything else that needs to be thought of daily. We’re super proud of Alice and her work as a top ‘agent of change’ by promoting and raising awareness for diabetes! 🩸
‘Thomas had a lovely half term week! We went pumpkin picking, and joined in some fun experiments at science buddies hosted by Hebburn Helps. We finished off watching fire works and trying out some sparklers! ![]()

‘Ayvah wanted to share her half term with everyone! She had the most amazing holiday at Center Parcs with her cousins ❤️. We went wall climbing, swimming, roller skating and bowling! I think we need another half term for some respite!’
Wow…a HUGE huuuuge thank you to St Oz children and families who participated in our Athlete sponsored event last Autumn with Lucy Turner!
We’ve finally had the money and voucher through from all of your sponsors/money raised and been able to spend it on some lovely new equipment for our children!
We are so grateful and excited! Thank you so much from two very happy PE leads, Miss Marley and Mr Barron 😁
‘We’ve had an amazing holidays an even more special one when we surprised the children with a St James stadium tour!’

‘Half term fun! The kids had a lovely half term, we did crafts and made cakes and had a lovely family bonfire night, followed by lots of goodies! The kids had fun drawing their names with the sparklers too!’😀
We loved receiving this email over the holidays and we are super proud of Callum!
‘One of your pupils Callum Comerford and a group of his friends organised a fundraiser this weekend .
Poor Callum wasn’t at the event but put the work in organising, delegating jobs to the adults , making crafts etc .
They raised over £1,000 which will go to the Hebburn Helps Christmas appeal making sure children get gifts during the cost of living crisis.’
Here is our lovely parent, Mr Snelling, partaking in the Movember madness! This was a photo from day 2! Please keep them coming…
