Last week our amazing Chicken & Duck club kindly volunteered to help Miss Riley tidy up the Reception’s outdoor area. Their hard work and kindness will be rewarded with their request of Easter popcorn around the campfire this week!
Our year 1 girls took part in a football festival on Friday and a team of girls from year 3/4 competed in games in order to celebrate International Women’s Day and the #letgirlsplay initiative, with our year 3/4 girls winning all of their games!🎉🥇
Our Alfie has been very busy working on his baking skills! ‘Alfie wanted to make a cheese cake tonight. He measured and mixed all the ingredients, now he’s waiting for it to set to eat it (white chocolate and Biscoff chocolate)!’
Introducing Chef Snelling! After fully embracing his DT topic, Eat the Seasons, our amazing Simon wanted to recreate the soup Year 5 made in their outdoor Forest School cooking session. Miss Topping and Mrs O’Doherty were super impressed receiving these pictures of Simon chopping, peeling and dicing, and loved that he added roasted garlic as addition to the classes recipe!
‘Alfie and Oscar would like to introduce you to Timmy the tortoise! Timmy is 6 years old and Alfie and Oscar are responsible for caring for Timmy, so they have been researching what they need to do!’
There’s lots to keep our children busy at lunchtime… Last week, lots of our KS1 and reception children collected sticks with Mrs Urwin, and set to work creating their won stick men!
