Yesterday, reception were learning about a Baptism / Christening. The children used the resources to act out their own Christening.

In Reception today, we have been on a hunt during Topic to find different textures we thought would be good for a dinosaur and explained what they all felt like 🦕

Nathan and Mitchell wanted to share some news with you and the St. Oswald’s family. The boys welcomed a new addition to the family this afternoon of Harley an 8wk old Boston Terrier. They are very excited and love her very much.

Yesterday, the Reception children have been looking at changes in materials. We placed a dinosaur into a balloon and then filled it with water. The water balloons were placed into the freezer. We can’t wait to find out what happens to the water balloons! Hopefully we will have a dinosaur ice egg .
