What a day year 1 have had for our Marie Curie Spring Appeal. Firstly we learnt about who Marie Curie was, where she came from and why she is so significant in history. We then wrote sentences to show our understanding of who she was. This afternoon we have discussed and evaluated famous daffodil paintings, discussing the use of colour, line and shape and deciding what we like/dislike about each one. We then chose which piece we wanted to recreate! What a brilliant and busy day! 🖼💐
