Reception have loved our worship challenge this week and have painted pictures of what we aspire to be when we grow up. We also loved the story of ‘Hope the boat’ and so tried to make our own paper boats! We discussed that we had to keep trying and are in control of our own success!
For worship this week Mrs Smith challenged us to think about what we aspire to be in the future. Year one have been discussing what they aspire to be and thought about what qualities we need to help us achieve this. We then used our computing skills by taking a picture of our work and recording our voices to explain what we have done.
Today Year 4 were lucky enough to have a Google Meet with Daniel and Lucy’s mam, Amanda! Two birds were hit with one stone as we were able to talk about Amanda’s job as a radiographer and also about how she helps people with cancer – we will be looking for ways to help people with cancer in Year 4 as it’s the area we have decided to focus on during courageous advocacy worship on Thursdays! We can’t thank Amanda enough for her help and excellent guidance – Year 4 were very interested and learned a lot!
This half term Year 2 have been learning about the artist Paul Klee. Over the term they have been learning the different skills to create their own version of Paul Klee’s painting ‘Castle in the sun’. Mrs Wood and Miss McKeown are blown away with everyone’s final artwork. Well done Year 2.
Year One were amazed at how big the trophy was that Hebburn Town FC won. Some of us loved watching the football team on television and we would just like to say how proud we all are. Well done!

Reception were so excited to see the Vase Cup this afternoon! We thought it was so big and shiny! Well done Hebburn! 🏼
Today we were so lucky as we got the privilege of seeing the FA Vase Cup that Hebburn Town won a few weeks back. Year 3 were thrilled, look at all of those beaming faces!
Today, we were lucky enough to get the one and only FA Vase into school to see! Won by our very own Hebburn Town! The children were so excited to see the cup and get a glimpse of it up close!
