Year 6 spent the afternoon in the nature garden thinking about some of our Movers and Shakers. We focused on Marie Curie in line with National Science Week, and Martin Luther King for Black History Month, who are our Science and History Movers and Shakers.
We took advantage of the calm and peacefulness of the nature garden to conduct our research, before having our class discussion around the fire pit about what made these people so influential.
We finished our session with some reflection time, talking about how we connected with the natural environment over the afternoon.
