Today Year Six visited the Victoria tunnel in Ouseburn. This was linked to our Britain at War topic, looking at both WWI and WWII. We got to experience what it was like in an air raid shelter, had a look at some items from the world wars and even got to hold a real bomb! Year 6 absolutely amazed our teachers and the staff at Victoria Tunnel with their knowledge, and loved showing off everything they have learned.
We finished off the afternoon with a walk along the Quayside, visiting lots of lovely places on the way!
