Year 4 had a great afternoon in Forest School. We have just started out new maths unit, multiplication and division. To refresh our memory on our times tables, we completed a multiplication hunt around the nature garden, matching up the questions with the correct answers.
We then went on a nature hunt through the nature garden to find some natural materials. Using these natural materials for inspiration, we then thought of different adjectives we could use to describe them, then putting these adjectives into expanded noun phrases. We challenged each other to think of unique adjectives to help make our writing more exciting!
We loved our Maths and English outdoors today!
