This week, for our Oracy challenge from Mrs Smith and Mrs Sharrock we are focusing on ‘listening to understand’. The children put this into practice by doing ‘back to back’ and ‘face to face’.

The children tasked each other to draw a house by listening to instructions whilst being back to back from another child. The children then changed roles and sat face to face, gaining the understanding of how important it is to have eyes to eyes and knees to knees in supporting our understanding of an instruction.
