Last week, Year 3 had a RHSE day to think about how the lives of children differ across the world. We discussed ways and which other people lives are similar and different to ours by creating a Venn diagram about two children named Chiwa and Kwende, who lived in Malawi. We then thought about ‘Is it fair’ for Chiwa not to go to school because her mother needed help at home and that she would not have a school eduction. We also discussed how we could make the world a fairer place and what we could do to help. We then imagined that we travelled to Malawi  to visit Chiwa and wrote a postcard to Mrs Smith to write about what we could see and hear in the village. Well done Year 3!
