Year 1 have had a fantastic art week for our last week together. We have been learning about the very interesting artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo and his fruit face portraits. We have observed his artwork and discussed what his style is and which fruits and vegetables we could see. We also discussed how his artwork made us feel, some of us were creeped out, interested, entertained and a bit scared of the faces. We then worked on different skills to create our own pieces of art. We used collaging, sketching and colour. Super job year 1
