Hi All,
We are looking into a trip for our Y6 children to the Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh for the day sometime in March 2024 with the Y6 children from Bede Burn. This is a museum with seven floors to explore.
The children will set off early in the morning (about 7ish) and get the train to Edinburgh. It is then a short walk to the museum. They will need a packed lunch. After a fun-filled day, they will return to St Oswald’s for about 6pm.
The cost of the trip will be approx £20 for non-pupil premium children and £15 for those eligible for pupil premium.
We are initially just looking to see how many children would be interested in this day.
It will be optional and those children who don’t wish to attend will still be able to have their normal lessons in school.
Please can you complete the form below regarding your expression of interest by 4pm this Friday (Friday 26th January 2024)

I have attached a map of the museum so you can take a look before making your decision.
I have been with my own children in the past and it is probably the best museum I’ve ever been to and offers so much linked to the children’s curriculum knowledge.
If anyone would like their child to go but may need support financially with this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Thanks
Mr Richardson
