We are asking parents/carers as always to contribute to our reverse advent calendar campaign. This is so important for some of our families this year more than ever!
Reverse advent calendars work by you filling a box every day with with items of food or toiletries that will be then distributed to help those less fortunate that are struggling at Christmas time.
Some ideas of things you might wish to add are:
Pencils, crayons, paper, colouring books
CD’s, DVD’s, books
Hats, gloves, scarves
Make up, toiletries
Arts and crafts, jigsaws
Dry Noodles, pasta and rice
Tinned goods such as fruit, tuna, baked beans, chopped tomatoes and rice pudding
Seasoning items such as salt, pepper, mustard, garlic powder etc
Cans or (plastic) bottles of fizzy or still drinks
Chocolate and sweets
Biscuits and crackers
Crisps and savoury snacks
Please don’t feel you have to make up a whole box as we can put these together with whatever items you have going spare in your cupboards.
Can we ask items be brought into school by Friday 4th of December 2020 so we can place them in isolation prior to distribution??
