We would like to assure you all that this is something we are taking seriously as a school and had already considered prior to adding birds to our site. Both our chicken and duck enclosures were designed and built so that our birds cannot interact with any wild birds, a requirement that comes into effect on the 14th. We already take hygiene very seriously when caring for our birds and staff will be extra vigilant in cleaning and sanitising ourselves and their enclosures.
