Year 1 have been completing STEM challenges as part of the CREST award. Today, we figured out which tin was the baked beans, and which was the soup by rolling them and measuring how far they went. We planned, tested and evaluated our investigation. At first, a lot of us thought the soup would roll the furthest as it was lighter but when we tested our investigation the beans went the furthest. We proposed that it could have been because the beans are heavier and tightly packed in the tin. We can’t wait to receive our passport sticker for this challenge!
