Year 3 had a fantastic day for Aspiration’s Day. We went around different classes and learned about so many different skills. We loved every minute of it!
In Worship, Year 3 analysed the lyrics of ‘Build Your Kingdom Here’ and discussed what they meant in the context of ‘we are the church’.
Year 3 had fun at swimming this week, we focused perfecting our backstroke. Well done Year 3!
Year 3 enjoyed focusing on The Holy Trinity during Prayer Space yesterday. We had a great morning!
In Art, Year 3 have been looking at Katie Scott who is a botanical artist. We then spent time creating pieces of artwork in the style of Katie Scott using her Botanicum Postcards as inspiration.
In History, we researched how the Roman army was so successful. We found out that it was due to high levels of training and how they are structured!
This week at swimming, we concentrated on back crawl. We focused on eyes on the ceiling, ears in the water and kicking our legs. 
Year 3 enjoyed a chat and some toast for toast Tuesday linking to our Mental Health Awareness week, which we have been focusing on in Worship.
Year 3 had a fantastic time at swimming, focusing on front crawl. Well done Year 3!
On Friday, Year 3 researched facts about David Attenborough. We then created videos and used our oracy skills to present our findings to the class.
