Hi hope you are keeping well, Anya is missing you lots.. she just wanted to let you know how well she’s doing with her maths she’s managing to do plus and take away with big numbers.. she’s worked out how to do numbers in all the ten units and so can add and take away any number now… we sometimes use mats to make it more fun and she jumps on the number or numbers depending on the answer

This week for topic Anya’s has been brainstorming how to make a tall and stable building… Anya knew she needed a strong base to stop her tower from falling she was really pleased with her work.
Ollie wanted to show you that we made a jelly trap and caught Evil Pea…by carefully measuring the water and chatting about liquids and measuring, we did make a lady pea too to make sure pea got stuck in the sticky jelly!! Our home is now save from that naughty pea!!! Finn has also been working hard on reading plus and following the tree top tutorials
We did Luke’s STEM tower project yesterday and he wanted to share his results.
We talked about what would make a good, strong tower and he came up with some fab ideas including using the blocks in a ‘Jenga’ way to make the tower more stable. It involved us digging out the duplo and we managed to build a 198cm tower He was extremely pleased with himself!
Lahna and Luke were delighted to receive the koinonia postcard from school. They hope everyone is keeping safe and well. We have now passed the koinonia on to spread the love through our school community. Let’s watch it grow
Mam was proud of Amber today as she’s done super good work and wanted to show her dragon she designed. She put some labels on and I feel like shes really trying with her phonics. It has purple horns, a spotty tummy and a loopy loop long tail 😁 We’ve also been doing white rose maths. Shes loving the pirate theme this week.

Harper is really enjoying learning about castles and dragons at home.after doing her work this morning we have been making a 3D castle which she cannot wait to show to everyone! While we are waiting for the castle dry she asked if she could paint a dragon I was so impressed I promised her I’d send it to show you. Hope you are all safe and well Harper and family xxx
Charlotte has been making the most of the sunshine over the past few weeks – playing in the garden, helping her dad wash the car and making sure she gets her daily exercise in. This weekend she has learned how to ride her bike without stabilisers – we are so proud of her!
