‘Alfie and Oscar had a brilliant half term started off celebrating Oscar’s birthday with his friends then a trip to Scarborough and Flamingoland! They both decided to conquer some fears and go on a couple of big rides (rollercoaster and the one that shoots up and drops fast) unfortunately, that meant mam had to go on with them!’
‘Zoe had a brilliant time on her holiday in London. She visited all the London landmarks and was really interested as her current topic is all about monarchs. Her favourite place was Buckingham palace and of course Borough market to sample all of the lovely foods on offer!’
‘Joe cashed in his birthday present (from January) this weekend, and off we went to Scarborough, glamping in a Sea King helicopter! He had a fantastic time—we visited Luna Park fair, took a train ride along the coast on the North Bay Railway, rode the old-fashioned water chute, and tackled the high ropes.
On our way home on Sunday, we stopped at Whitby just to double-check that there are, in fact, 199 steps to the Abbey.’
What a fab night in Chicken and Duck club. We loved enjoying our s’mores around the fire, as well as finally being able to get back in the coop to look after the chickens and ducks!
Yesterday, IPad club took a photo of an everyday object and used different tools to transform it into a character. We found this very funny!
Wowwwwww! Our children LOVED our new weekly fitness challenge this morning! We had sooo many participants and eager children to get involved 
. Each week Miss Marley, and staff, will set a new challenge for our children to take part in over our break times and lunch times. We also loved receiving a sports sticker for getting involved! Keep your eyes peeled for your children coming home with a sticker

‘Ivy wants to share her big achievement. She has learnt to ride her bike in just 2 little days and now loves playing out on the street with the big boys and girls on their bikes!’
During our final week of spring term, our girls football team played their last round of matches yesterday. We’re beyond proud of their efforts and commitment in representing St Oswalds!

Haway the lasses
St. Oswald’s raised the roof in church on Thursday morning during our Easter service. The Christian council led us through the service, all about the Easter story and Jesus’ humility. We remembered that during Easter, we should be thankful for Jesus’ actions in saving us…. And of course, we sang super loud with lots of energy!
Maddie, Ryan, and little Meghan had an amazing time yesterday at a sheep farm where they got to feed the lambs.
