As part of National Fitness Day, KS2 showed great determination and resilience to run a mile / 9 laps of the school yard. Many were able to run even more – great effort Key Stage 2!

St. Oswald’s have had a great day down at the beach! We’ve chatted with our families, joined in with the obstacle course and taken part in beach games! 
Chicken and duck club requested a water fight night, last night – and they LOVED it! This group were fantastic and loved every minute of the night, you can see all of the fun that was had!
What a gorgeous gorgeous night we all had at chicken and duck club this week! This week was sizzling sausages around the campfire, some chilling in the hammock and of course, some den building!

Our children have had a wonderful afternoon in their Aspiration’s Day workshops! They have been learning a range of skills from marketing, to budgeting, safety in our surroundings and even team building! What a day!
‘At the weekend Lottie attended Jamfest Europe cheerleading competition in Manchester with her team FLASH. Out of a very hard division of 8 teams they placed 3rd, hitting a zero routine which means no deductions from the judging panel! Well done Lottie and team!’
Yesterday, our reception children had a special treat at snack time, they video called Mrs Urwin and her new little girl, Ada, and were the first in the school to find out and say a little hello!
