A very big well done to our moustache superheroes flying the flag for Movember.

A very cold and snow filled evening meant our Chicken and Duck clubbers had to admit defeat and take our club indoors! We took to the staff room to warm up, and played some very dramatic (and perfectly executed!) Wink Murder whilst we thawed out! This wonderful lot never fail to put a smile on Mrs Sharrock and Mrs O’Doherty’s faces

Tonight our KS1 multi sports club played Robin Hood and Space Run, testing out our stealing and dodging skills!
Here are Darren and Jason’s final Movember update – don’t they look great?! Thank you for getting involved! #Movember #MoBros
‘Anya and Ava not only won their match on Saturday but they were mascots for Hebburn women team on Sunday and also met Jill Scott who wished them well in their season.’
The Christian Council returned to Hebburn Helps this morning, this time to support with their Christmas gift appeal. They sorted and put together Christmas bags for children of a range of ages (from 3 months to 16 years) across Hebburn.
We also discussed with Angie the process behind approving applications, talking also about how more working families than ever are now accessing Hebburn Helps due to the increased cost of living.
The Christian Council will report back to the school in Friday’s Christingle service, which also includes an opportunity for members of our school community to take away toys, food and clothing prior to Christmas.
Christmas has officially arrived at St Oswald’s! The tree is up and is looking super festive!
Our KS1 multi sports club practiced some of their handball skills – there was some brilliant passing, moving and shooting on display!

Some of our Y1 and Y2 led the school worship on Monday. This week’s focus was based on finding out what the children are passionate about changing in the world and how they can be Agents of Change towards this. We are so proud of their courage for reading and speaking in front of so many people. Well done Y1/2!
