We are all incredibly proud. Year 2 entered a Christmas Card competition for the Jarrow constituency and Emmie was one of four winners with her design. She received a Christmas card and some gifts off MP Kate Osbourne. Well done Emmie!
Year One have created Christmas baubles for STEM week. They are on sale tomorrow at 14:45 for £1. We hope you love them as much as we do. 
Year 1 had a fabulous time visiting Temple Park on Friday for a Multi Skills festival. We got to learn some new skills and practice some others. Well done year 1 
What a fantastic experience year 1 had visiting Mrs Smith’s Christmas Cafe! Miss Booth was so impressed with how adventurous the children were trying some unfamiliar foods! What a lovely Christmas treat! Thank you Mrs Smith

Evelyn and Evie wanted to share some photos of what they’ve been up to this weekend as they’re super excited for Christmas!
Evelyn wasn’t able to make Evie’s 6th birthday party on Saturday so they invited Evie to Winter Wonderland on Sunday to make up for it! We visited Santa, went on a donkey ride and lots of rides!
Mam, Kayley, told us, ‘Santa came to visit us and gave us chocolate and a certificate with our name on!’ ❤️
Meryl and Joseph had a great time at Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Theatre Royal in Newcastle, over the weekend!
Last week has been STEM week, year 1 were challenged with the task of
designing and creating a toy wand for the outdoor area! For our
creative task, we first had to locate a suitable stick in the nature
garden, then we decided on which shape we wanted and cut out the top
of our wands. Next, we used natural materials to decorate. We did add
extra decorations to make the wands more appealing. Some of us even
helped Miss Booth use the laminator. We’ve then evaluated and spoke
with confidence about our wands. What a great product Year 1, I know
you’re going to have so much fun with these!️

In Year 1 this half term our topic has been toys, for our design and technology learning we have focused on puppets. For our final piece we designed and made our own puppets for role play. Here are our final products! We think they’re great! Super job year 1
