Lee has been on an adventure to Herrington Park in Sunderland, and Penshaw Monument with his Granda – wow! This looks like lots of fun!
Rocco, Joe (and Erin) kicked off the summer holidays with a morning rock-pooling at St Mary’s Bay. The hope was to find a starfish but it wasn’t to be. They were however thrilled to find this fab shore crab, lots of hermit crabs and some teeny tiny fish

Today Year 1 have held our own class vote and class award ceremony. The children had various categories and had to vote in secret. We then announced the awards this afternoon! Our winners then chose a prize! 

Year 2 have been creating Great Barrier Reef Art in the style of the artist, Eugene Rubuls.
To round off our RE learning on Judaism year 1 have learnt all about
the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We have then made our own Sukkah’s!
They look amazing, well done year 1!

Reception and year one have had a very busy morning looking around the school for litter following on from our summer fayre. Our school is looking amazing. Well done superstars!
