Dear Parents and Carers,

We are writing regarding the Aspiration’s Day we are holding on Friday 25th May at school and would like to provide you with some further information around this.

Firstly, at 9am there will be a whole school assembly which parents/carers are welcome to attend around what aspirations are and some of the aspirations of our school community.

Across the morning each class will access a twenty minutes slot in the hall whereby the children can speak to a wide range of visitors from different jobs. The children will choose who they would like to speak to and have some interview questions prepared to find out about our visitors different job roles.

After lunch parents/carers/grandparents are invited to collect their children from their classes from 2pm onwards.

You will then have the opportunity to access our careers fayre in the hall with also some activities on the yard.  This is an opportunity for you to discuss the range of jobs on offer with your children and encourage them to ask questions to our stallholders.  The stalls will include; Barclays Bank, The Army, RSPCA , Durham University, Hebburn Comprehensive plus many more.

If you are unable to attend, your child will be taken around the fayre by their class teacher.

We are very passionate about immersing our children in a range of careers from an early age and ensuring they are prepared for life in Modern Day

Regards,
