Wow what a fantastic day year 4 have had at Jarrow Hall! We learned so much linked to the Anglo Saxons. We first took part in some workshops learning how fabric was made from wool, how it was cleaned, brushed, spun and woven. We then recreated a battle and looked at replica weapons. During the afternoon we explored an an Anglo Saxon village, learned about the purposes of the animals and then had a story around the fire ! What a brilliant day of learning, the children were so inquisitive and had some amazing answers to questions!
