Year 4 had a fab jam packed World Book Day yesterday! Our class book to focus on was ‘Animal’ by . We started the day reading the book as a class. We then looked at our own books from home with an animal focus, and shared these with each other. We then focused on animal illustrations, picking our favourite to sketch.
After this, we used our sticky knowledge from Year 3 and Year 2 around clay modelling, bringing our animal sketches to life and creating our own 3D animals.
In the afternoon, we used our animal characters to create a story, bringing them life! We used all of our physical oracy skills to perform our stories and recorded them to share with the class.
