Wowzers trousers! Year 1 have amazed staff with their map reading and oracy skills during Time to Talk Day. Children read the story of “Mr Men Little Miss in London” and identified the landmarks visited by the characters. Next, children explored the types of transport used to travel around the city and used a tube map and key to plot places of interest. Finally, children then used Mr Men character puppets to explain the route the characters took in the story.
