Year 3 had their Forest School session yesterday, and as part of their Prehistoric Pots topic, we spent the afternoon exploring clay. We looked at different joining techniques, and made our own ‘slip’ mixture to help join sections of clay together. We also looked at how we could begin to mould pot shapes with our thumbs, thinking about even thickness.
