Yesterday morning, Year 1 used their sticky knowledge of the creation story to retell how Jewish and Christian people believe God made the Earth. They held the Bible and the Torah (Jewish holy book) to help them understand that both religions believe the same thing about the creation. Then they explored Psalm 8 and discussed its key messages for both religions.

This was such a tricky lesson for the children, but they worked so hard and coped brilliantly!
