Today, year 4 joined the local library! Staff have been blown away with year 4’s love of reading so far this term, and arranged for a trip to Jarrow library so we could explore more books and authors…library staff had even arranged a display of books for us to look at in relation to our current Invasion topic (some of which they kindly let us take back to school). Library staff read us a story which we all really enjoyed, and then we spent time choosing our own book to borrow. We can’t wait for our next visit to return our books and pick new ones!
