This week Year One have been exploring STEM linked to music. First, we looked at lots of musical instruments and the different sounds they make. Next, we used our fantastic musical knowledge to chose an instrument and create a plan to design it. We chose maracas!
On Tuesday, we used our plans to build our maracas. We used cardboard tubes, tissue paper, and rice. They were so colourful! 
. At the end of the week, we evaluated our products, discussing what went well and what we could improve next time. Some of our parents came in and helped us record our maracas! We have had a fabulous week
