Last Thursday, Class 2 visited Beamish museum so that we could learn about what Christmastime was like for people in the past. In the morning, we spent time exploring the Town and speaking to the towns people who told us lots of interesting facts! We also got to ride on the trams but found that they rattled so much we wobbled all over the place! Later on, we visited Home Farm where we experienced a Victorian Christmas and took part in activities like making Christmas biscuits and playing parlour games. We had a fantastic day!
