Our Year 1 children broke a St Oswald’s record this week by travelling the furthest by any class for a day trip! Our mini explorers completed a 160 mile round trip to York, via the National Railway Museum.

The children had such a fantastic time meeting British Transport Police officers at Central Station and then travelling at high speed on the mainline train.The children not only had the chance to get up close to a replica of George Stephenson’s rocket, but also Tim Peake’s spacecraft!
