Last week, Year 5 teamed up with Bede Burn to kickstart their new topic, learning all about the Shang Dynasty. We were super lucky to spend the day with some people from the Oriental Museum in Durham, who came to deliver some workshops for us. We became mini archeologists, looking at and handling objects from the Shang Dynasty using our observational and historical enquiry skills.

We then created our own Shang bronze pot, using embossing foil with our own taotie!
