Year 1 had the BEST day at Donnison House. The children experienced a school day in the 1950’s, they dressed up in Victorian clothing, wrote on slate boards, recited a famous poem by William Wordsworth, explored artefacts, visited the local church, identified artefacts from the past and present and finally had a discussion around 1950’s children and the lifestyle they lived. Wowza such a busy, jam packed day but we all absolutely loved our time at Donnison House.
