Year 5 had a great Forest School session delving deeper into our Sow, Grow and Farm topic. We started by looking at how different plants reproduce, focusing in particular on the different ways plants can reproduce on their own. We then studied potatoes, garlic, beans, ginger and celeriac to establish how they reproduced.

At the end of our session, we planted our own selection of vegetables. As soon as they begin to grow we will transfer them to our flower beds which we cleared out last half term…we can’t wait to watch the changes and see what we can grow!
