Year 4 had a fabulous Forest school this week! Linked to our DT topic of Tomb Builders, we explored pulleys and levers. We were challenged to work in teams to devise our own pulley system to find an easy way to lift a bucket of water, which really put our problem solving skills to the test! After, we looked at how we could follow instructions to make our own levers, which we had lots of fun testing out!
With it being our final Forest school session of year 4, we also enjoyed some s’mores around the campfire, wowing Mrs O’Doherty with our knowledge of fire safety, and outstanding behaviour across the afternoon!
