Christmas has arrived at Oz, in the form of our very first, and wonderfully hosted, wreath making class! What a buzz around our school after these gorgeous ladies spent a morning with us making these spectacular wreaths! ✨

Some of our KS2 children went to take part in an athletics event at Temple Park Leisure Centre yesterday, and they WON! A huge congrats to you all – superstars!
This week, Year 6 led our whole school Remembrance Service. We wrote our own lines to read out during the service. We thank the soldiers past and present for keeping us safe.
Today, the girls football team played matchday 2. The team continue to be unbeaten in the league and have conceded zero goals in 5 matches. Across the afternoon they played outstanding football and we could not be prouder of them all!

On Tuesday, our mixed football team played matchday 3. We thought hard about our formation and changed this up to compete against the opposition. Firstly, we played Toner Avenue, winning 3-2 Bodhi AJ . Our second match we were also winners v Hebburn Lakes, Ava H Bodhi . Well done to all our players, outstanding football was played by all, we’re so proud of this team.
It was another gorgeous week in Ozzie Tots! Our littlest members had a lovely time playing together, while the grown ups enjoyed a bit of a cuppa and a catch up too!
Yesterday, our mixed football team were put to the test against two very good teams in St Aloysius and St Joseph’s. Due to the quality of both teams, Mr Richardson and Miss Randle decided to think tactically and opted to play a 3-2-1 formation, overloading the defence and breaking on the attack. This was executed to perfection by the team. The understanding of the game each player displayed was outstanding. The awareness shown, even without the ball at their feet was admirable and was an absolute joy to watch. A big shoutout to our keeper Harley, for some top class saves that contributed to St Oz taking the 3 points in both matches. A massive well done to all involved, Mr Richardson and Miss Randle could not be prouder of the 100% effort you all give when stepping onto the pitch and representing our school!
