Yesterday, year 1 had the BEST day at Donnison House. The children experienced a school day in the 1950’s, they dressed up in Victorian clothing, wrote on slate boards, recited a famous poem by William Wordsworth, exercised in the garden, explored artefacts and finally had a discussion around 1950’s children and the lifestyle they lived. Wowza such a busy, jam packed day but we all absolutely loved our time at Donnison House, even the staff commented numerous times about the impeccable behaviour, manners and learning of all the children. We are SUPER proud of you all year 1.
