St Oswald’s vs Monkton Juniors B
On the 16th of October 2014, St Oswald’s went off to Hebburn Comp with a loss on their backs, as they went to play the opposition of Monkton Juniors B and A.
The start of the first game against the B team of Monkton Juniors was very promising. We were 1-0 up within 5 minutes, as Connor Clark our top goal scorer scored a belter. With half time looming Oliver Cresdee scored a cracker. After half time had gone we had to defend like a dream team which we did as they couldn’t find the back of the net. Near full time, we broke from a Monkton attack to grab a third goal by super sub Connor Clark. Seconds after the goal it was full time as we celebrate with a penguin slide after winning 3-0.
